What ages can take part?
Children under 3/4 need parent/carer supervision
Mainly so they don't eat & or choke on any of the materials. We are using kid friendly materials that are suitable for above 3 yrs, but if a parent/carer is helping, you are welcome work on a project together.
Where are we:
🌧️ When it's raining we are in the back of the Church. When you come in the main entrance, got straight forward and then go through the door to the right of the stage. We're in the blue room!
☀️ If it's sunny and the market stalls are outside - we'll be inside the main hall of the church at the back corner
What we do
There are three different tables set out for the kids:
Drawing table - Coloured pencils
Painting table - Watercolour
Sculpting table - Plastercine
🧪 They can switch between tables as they please throughout the class. There is no set theme as to what we do.
🎨 The materials provided have brighter colours & are of higher quality than what is usually offered in schools, which I hope will get the kids more inspired & by art in the future and want to continue with it for longer!

How to pay:
- £60 3 weeks in advance to confirm your booking
- The rest of the fee - 1 week in advance
- Any extra children added last minute paid for before the event
- If your party is outside of Brighton there may be an extra charge for travel time & costs depending on how far it is!
What I need from the other parents
- Permissions to take photos (otherwise only hands and backs of heads will be included)
- These workshops get messy! Make sure parents know to dress their kids in messy clothes.

MISS BERRY'S LOST BUTTERFLIES
May 2024, Waterstones, Brighton
In this workshop, we started with a fun treasure hunt, searching for butterflies hidden around the Waterstones bookshop. The butterflies had lost their colors, so when the children found them, they learned how to paint them using watercolors. This activity combined the excitement of a treasure hunt with the creativity of painting, giving the children a clear purpose for their artwork.

Over the weekend of the 10th & 11th of December 2022, I ran a drop in bauble workshop for children and adults at the Seven Sisters Country Park Christmas Fair.
