A window painting for Inle Home. A beautifully crafted homeware store in Seaford, East Sussex. It was a pleasure to work with Abby & Marco who own & run this store. The theme for this window was to encourage people to shop locally this Christmas. On the window are painted the words 'Shop Local, Shop Seaford' and 'Support local businesses this Christmas' (with QR code). The QR code takes you to the 'Visit Lewes' website where there is a list of independent shops in Seaford. The different pictures in the window are of scenes from Seaford, Christmassy objects & some products that are sold in Inle Home. They are hung up with invisible thread & on the back are painting with a pale pink that matches the shop front. I believe it important for the window to look good both on the outside as well as the inside.

QUICK VIT HEALTH FOOD STORE

The idea behind this window painting was to include plants that are used in the health food shop in their products such as medicines and teas. The window is set to last at least a year, and is planned to be a semi - permanent feature of the window. Each plant is labeled so that customers and walkers by can identify them.

This window painting was commissioned by The Dining Chair Company to honour Belgravia in Bloom & the Chelsea Flower Show 2022. The artwork was inspired by William Blake's poem & illustrations, in line with Belgravia In Bloom's theme of 2022 'Beautifully British'.
